The ESRC-funded PrOPEL Hub launched in early 2020 and brings together experts across ten UK Universities and the CIPD. We all share a common interest in understanding the role of workplace practice in tackling the UK’s productivity puzzle. Over the past three years, we have worked together to broaden and deepen our understanding of working lives and develop interventions to enhance workplace practice and employee engagement to improve productivity.

On the 6th and 7th March we will be running a two-day conference to share what we have learned and to identify next steps. Join us on either or both days to:

  • Hear from leading PrOPEL Hub researchers and partners on the role of the workplace and workplace levers in driving employee engagement, wellbeing, innovation and productivity.
  • Hear the results from major research projects on what works in workplace wellbeing; improving job quality; influencing management decision-making; improving conflict resolution; and more.
  • Engage with the launch of our new research on ‘what policy makers can do’ to promote fair work and workplace productivity.
  • Explore different methodologies for engaging and influencing business, policy and academic stakeholders, including traditionally “hard to reach” groups.
